Nanobrick, driving commercialization of electrically color changeable materials with a global electronic devices manufacturer

Nanobrick (KOSDAQ: 286750, CEO Dr. James (Jae-Hyun) Joo), a specialized company in developing and manufacturing functional new materials, has signed a co-development contract with a global electronic devices manufacturer to commercialize electrically color changeable material for electronic devices on February 24, 2020.

The two companies will implant Nanobrick’s innovative functional material that is color changeable by electric signal (voltage) along with product design and driving technology of a global electronics manufacturer to commercialize E-Skin for the color changeable surface of IT devices.

E-Skin is a film-type product that is applicable to exterior of various electronic devices. It is expected to form a sensible electronics market in which the surface color changes to accommodate the needs of the user and the external environment as the artificial intelligence and the Internet of Things industries are being cultivated. .

Beginning with this contract, Nanobrick will expand the application of E-Skin to various sensible surface sectors including home appliances with color-variable refrigerators, interiors with color-variable wallpaper, as well as various color-variable electronic devices including smartphones.

At present, the Company has driven the business collaboration of the high security material and color changeable cosmetics material with respective global customers, the Company aims to commercialize application products by employing the color changeable functional new material with the leading global electronics company.
